Rukiya (pronounced ROO-KEE-YAH) means to ascend or rise up. The name is of Swahili origin and means "She Rises on High".  This African Angel is a reminder of how beautiful it is when we rise up.This painting is dedicated to the loving memory of my beloved Aunt, Patricia Ann Hayes Elliott.The individual canvases are each 12" x 36". Together the 3 canvases will require about 3 ft. x 3 ft. of wall space.
